The tutorial, set inside a hacked Militech training shard. This was a fun one to work on, as it is the tutorial and therefore very gameplay oriented we decided to translate the space the player occupies fairly directly from the level design blockout of Sebastian McBride to the final art. This also made sense because of the locations virtual setting. Along with concept art from Marcin Tomalak, I created a modular asset set to achieve this blocked-out look. The set was then used in other cyberspace sequences in the game. Outside of the areas closest to the player I had more freedom for artistic embellishments, working towards this under-construction/digital compression/corruption style. I took care of the location from art draft through to final polish.
